Protecting customer information received through all of
our service channels - at banking offices, via ATMs, by
telephone, and through our website - is important.
This Privacy Notice applies only to consumer customers
of 1ST Centennial Bank , 1st Centennial Wealth
Strategies Group , 1st Centennial Bancorp and other
members of the Centennial Financial Family. We have a
long-standing policy of protecting confidential
information about you and your transactions. Our privacy
policy, described below, applies not only to written
files, but also to personal information you provide us
through transactions you conduct on-line, by telephone,
or when you send us e-mail.
Who is a Consumer. A "consumer" is an individual
(a natural person, not a corporation, partnership or
trust, for example) who obtains, or has obtained a
financial product or service from us to be used
primarily for personal, family or household purposes.
Who is a Customer. A "customer" is defined as a
consumer who has a continuing relationship with us to
provide financial products or services for personal,
family or household purposes.
Non-Public Personal Information. Non-public
personal information is defined in applicable law and
generally means personally identifiable financial
information that is identified with the customer that is
not obtainable from a public source.
Collection and Retention of Non-Public Personal
Information. We collect and retain information about
you to identify and communicate with you, to provide you
with products and services you have requested, to help
us respond to your questions, and to inform you about
other financial services that may be of interest to you.
We collect the following types of non-public personal
information about you from the following sources:
- Information we receive from you on applications
or other loan and account forms such as your name,
address, social security number, assets,
liabilities, employment, income and expenses;
- Information about your transactions with us, our
affiliates, or others such as your loan or deposit
account balances, payment history, parties to
transactions, or ATM or debit or credit card usage;
and
- Information we receive from a consumer reporting
agencies, such as your creditworthiness and credit
history.
Disclosure of Non-Public Personal Information.
We do not disclose non-public information about our
customers or former customers to non-affiliated third
parties, except as permitted or required by law.
Other Disclosures. We may also disclose all of
the information we collect, as described above, to
companies that perform marketing services on our behalf
or to other financial institutions with whom we have
joint marketing agreements to offer financial products
and services to you. These business partners
contractually agree to keep the information confidential
and not use it for any other business purpose. We may
also share all of the information we collect within our
corporate family, subject to law. The members of our
corporate family are all financial institutions, such as
a holding company, mortgage broker, financial advisor
and the like.
Our Employees' Access to and Use of Customer
Information. Each of our employees has
responsibility for maintaining the confidentiality of
customer information they use. We require all employees
to agree in writing to protect the confidentiality of
customer information and to use it only for our business
purposes. Our policy is to prohibit employees from
accessing your personal information unless there is a
business reason to do so. For example, internal access
and sharing of information about you within our various
service units occurs to evaluate, structure and
facilitate the services you have requested or to inform
you of other financial services that may be of interest
to you. We train our employees to recognize the
importance of customer confidentiality. Employees who
violate these standards are subject to disciplinary
measures.
Former or Inactive Customers. If you decide to
close your account(s) or become a former or inactive
customer, we will continue to adhere to the privacy
policies and practices described in this notice.
Our Security Procedures. We take other steps to
safeguard customer information maintaining physical,
electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with
federal standards to guard your non-public personal
information.

Information About this Privacy Notice. We reserve
the right to make changes to this policy at any time. We
will notify our customers if we do so, as required by
law.
Online Privacy Guidelines
General Access. The Bank's web site is accessible
to the public. When any person visits the website the
Bank may collect certain basic information, such as how
many people visited the site and what pages were
visited. All of the information gathered at our web site
is general. The Bank uses this general information to
determine which parts of the web site are most popular,
how people access the site, how it can improve the
content of the web pages, and how service can be
improved to our customers.
How We Handle E-mail and Secure Communications.
Email is not a secure environment. Email addresses for
key bank personnel and the general email address of the
bank are published on the website. When sending an email
to us, do not provide sensitive or confidential
information (for example, your account number).
Communication to us via “Quick Inquiry” or “Password
Help” forms found on the website, however, are links to
a secure communications channel. Whenever you complete
an online “Quick Inquiry” form or “Password Help” form,
it is encrypted through Secure Socket Layer (SSL). SSL
technology secretly encodes information that is being
sent over the Internet between your computer and 1st
Centennial Bank, helping to ensure that the information
remains confidential. After you have submitted your form
online, we recommend that you end your browser session
before leaving your computer.
Consolidation Sites. Please use caution when
using consolidation sites. Consolidation sites are
Internet sites, which offer the ability to collect all
of your personal information on one site. For example,
you may be encouraged to provide consolidation sites
with your personal financial information.
Linking to Other Sites. We may provide links to
other Web sites that are not controlled by 1st
Centennial Bank. If you choose to link to Web sites that
are not controlled by 1st Centennial Bank, we are not
responsible for the privacy or security of these sites.
You are encouraged to review the Web site’s privacy
policy before providing any personal information. In
addition, 1st Centennial Bank does not guarantee the
products, information or recommendations provided by
these sites.
NEVER PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION TO A SITE THAT YOU DO
NOT RECOGNIZE AND FULLY TRUST.
YOU SHOULD KNOW: All transactions initiated by a
consolidation site using access information you provide
are considered to be authorized by you, whether or not
you were aware of the specific transaction. You may
revoke this authority only by notifying us using
procedures we establish, and we may need to block your
account until we issue new access codes.
About "cookies." A cookie is a small bit of
information placed on your computer by a web site, which
later can be retrieved. A cookie is a way for a web site
to recognize whether or not you have visited the site
before. The cookie cannot be read by a web site other
than the one that “set” the cookie. They do not read
your hard drive or contain any information that you have
not already explicitly revealed. None will contain
information that will enable anyone to contact you via
telephone or email. We do not store encrypted personal
information in the form of cookies. We may use cookies
to access stored passwords or to enable users to

Protecting Our Children. We do not knowingly
solicit data from children and we do not knowingly
market to children. We recognize that protecting
children's identities and privacy online is important
and that the responsibility to do so rests with both the
